Fun Stuff

A shrunken head for a dice bag. This was really fun and quick to knit.
The pattern is Tsantsa by Beth Khan
I did do some crochet for the locks of hair, instead of the cast on method in the pattern.

I stitched up several ribbon cases for my double pointed needles. I think I did at least a dozen of these little cases. I will have to make up a few larger ones for anything over a size 6.

I came across a little photo tutorial of wire and bead rings. I gave it a try. Fun! although the one on the left might be a little too chunky.

These granny squares were a thrifty find last Thursday.
I have been chain stitching the green ones together for a girl size poncho.

Today I must make my apron for the Sassy Apron Swap. Yes I am almost out of time. I need to have it in the mail on Saturday. I am also still working on getting caught up on the Dear Jane quilt along.

Sparkles

Outside of my quilting projects I have been working on a dress, for my niece.

This week I am sewing on the sparkly bits, beaded trim, and sequins.

OOPs-I thought it would be easy to use the sequins if I placed them in this little plastic box. Not true. The static Electricity makes them jump out of the box (like popcorn) every time I move the box.

Edited:
Myra made L-4 for her Quilt. I helped quite a bit with this one. We should of paper pieced, but I tried cutting individual pieces for her. I will have to teach her to piece with paper soon.

Fruit snack?......

As I was opening a package of snacks for the kids I thought,
"These would make nice beads."
